Hey all, I’m excited to show you another WIP of the 2022 supporter playmat. The background is sketched in and color is coming in, and it’s going into cleaning and polishing stages to make it really shine.
Once I have the final version, I will add our branding on top and mock up the final version for everyone to see!
As a reminder, the playmat will be sent to everyone who has accrued $60 of patronage during 2022. At our basic levels, that’s 12 months of the $5 Super Rare tier, and 6 months of the $10 Ultra Rare tier. However, I’ve been asked how this works if someone wanted to support with higher amounts of money than our typical pledge levels. I didn’t even consider this as a possibility, so I’m issuing some slight adjustments to the process to include that option for individuals who want to receive it ASAP. I’ve included this and some basic answers to other questions in a short FAQ below, which I hope helps clear things up!

2022 Supporter Playmat FAQ
1. How do I get a 2022 Supporter Playmat?
Any patron who accrues $60+ USD in support during 2022 months will receive a playmat at no additional charge. This is irrespective of pledge tiers’ base value (i.e., someone could choose to pledge $60 in a single month to get it, or support for 5 months at $10, and then 5 months at $2 and still receive it).
2. How will the mat be printed?
The mat will be a traditional neoprene mat utilizing a thicker backing and a black stitched edge.
3. When will I receive my 2022 Supporter Playmat?
To save on printing costs, playmats will be printed in batches and checked at quarterly intervals. Those checks will occur in early March, June, September, and December. At those points, any currently eligible patrons will receive a message requesting current shipping information, then the playmats will be printed and shipped out.
4. How else will these playmats be distributed?
A few additional playmats will be printed as gifts for our content creators who have created content during the year, including one for myself. Other than those printed for our content creators and Patrons, no additional copies of this mat will be printed and the final order for it will be placed in December. If this promotion is well received, we will continue with one or more new designs in 2023.
